How to participate:
To participate, you must be a male with the name Slocombe/Slocum,
or one of the variant spellings.
You must provide us with a family line going back 4 generations, but more is preferred.
If you would like to join please contact us.
After submitting your application to FTDNA,they will send a DNA specimen
collection kit directly to you with instructions.
The test is simple and easy.
Payment is not required until you return the kit
to the lab. Results are generally returned to you in four to six weeks.

Privacy
We will not publish any information that will directly tie any testing results with any living individual. This policy will hold even though there is little or no impact to be found from having these numbers published. We will use your Kit# - first initial and last name.

There are several testing options
There are several testing options. Most participants begin with the 12 marker Y-DNA test and then upgrade to the 25 marker refinement test at a later time if needed.

Genealogy by genetics is the greatest addition to Genealogy since the creation of the Family Tree!
